In 2010, artist Xavier Cortada created the drawings on carbon paper, an apt metaphor for the impact (or “carbon footprint”) that humans have had on these animals. The works are in the permanent collection of NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, each limited-edition print (editions of 5) signed and numbered by the artist to establish its value and authenticity.
