“Let’s Explore”

Travel virtually to the far corners of the globe, climb under glaciers and dive atop coral reefs with the latest 360° video technology!  Don an Oculus headset and accompany scientists gathering evidence of climate change in some of the world’s most beautiful and remote locations.

The Hibiscus Gallery in Pinecrest Gardens is proud to present Let’s Explore, a 360° virtual reality film produced by the nonprofit Honoring the Future in partnership with videographer Steve Johnson. Honoring the Future harnesses the power of art to educate, empower, and engage the public on climate change. Steve Johnson, a pioneer in immersive filmmaking, founded See Boundless to tell good stories through film. Together, they’ve created a “must see” film. As the Newseum’s Chief Technology Officer Mitch Gelman observed, “There is no better media through which to tell this story – and this film does it exceptionally well.”
